Our December General Meeting is traditionally our holiday potluck. We will be continuing this tradition this year, on December 21st, in a modified format. Our gathering will begin with a 20-minute retrospective on what surprisingly has been a busy and productive year in astronomy and space exploration. Afterwards, we’ll split the meeting into smaller groups to spend time enjoying each other’s company in a relaxed setting. A board member will be in each small group to facilitate discussion and the current plan is for the groups to shuffle two or three times during the meeting. We encourage you to enjoy a meal or a nice beverage in the smaller group gatherings. In accordance with our tradition, the meeting will begin an hour earlier than usual, at 6:30, so that the meeting aligns better with dinner time. Details will arrive in your email inbox a week or two before the meeting.

The phone apps can be used while attending an online program on a computer by putting the phone near the computer's speaker. Or to see captions on the computer screen, open Web Captioner in a separate browser window, click "Start Captioning" then adjust the size of the browser windows so that the Web Captioner window sits below the Zoom meeting.
